Release of Liability – Epicski Academy
LIABILITY RELEASE – PUBLICITY CONSENT
I hereby voluntarily request to participate in an EpicSki Academy, sponsored by EpicSki, Inc. and managed by its partner skiclinics.com. I understand that skiing and skiing instruction are dangerous and that the dangers include risks of injury from, but not limited to: weather and surface conditions, avalanches, terrain, trees, lifts, towers, other structures and equipment, collisions with other skiers, including fellow students and instructors, and a skier’s failure to ski within the skier’s own ability, whether individually or while under an instructor’s guidance. I am aware that natural and man-made obstacles exist. Fencing, equipment covers, signs, rope lines, and other marking devices may be in place and mark some, but not all, potential obstacles or hazards. I am aware that skiing and ski instruction may result in serious injury, death or property damage from these risks and I voluntarily accept such risk. I understand that there are additional risks of injury associated with the procedures, drills, practices and circumstances associated with group and individual skiing instruction and skill development. I agree to obey “Your Responsibility Code” and the laws of the state in which the EpicSki Academy event is being held. I acknowledge that this release, hold harmless and indemnity agreement shall also cover any risk of injury arising from or out of any automotive, shuttle, air or other transportation arranged for me in connection with the event, that EpicSki, Inc. is not providing such transportation and that such transportation arrangements are solely between me and the provider.
I consent to the use and reproduction, without any compensation to me, of all photos or visual representation made of or including me in connection with this program, including without limitation video footage used on or off the website, www.epicski.com, whether for commercial, educational or promotional purposes.
I HEREBY RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY EPICSKI, INC. AND SKICLINICS.COM, THEIR EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PRINCIPALS, OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY RESULTING FROM THE RISKS DESCRIBED HEREIN, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH RISKS RESULT FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE OF EPICSKI, INC., ITS EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PRINCIPALS, OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS. I AGREE THAT THIS RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT ALSO COVERS AND IS FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL VOLUNTEERS, SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS, INSTRUCTORS, EVENT COORDINATORS. MODERATORS AND OTHERS INVOLVED IN THE EVENT, EPICSKI.COM AND THE WEBSITE, AND ANY OTHER PERSON RELATED TO ANY OF THEM IN ANY CAPACITY.
I have carefully read this agreement, understand it, and accept its terms.
